Timeline
The youth project starts as a self-organised meeting point called Kombi 2 Club — the origin of today's AJZ KITA.
The loose hangout becomes a registered, non-profit association: AJZ KITA e.V. with statutes, self-administration and an open plenum.
The AJZ runs its own bar/crew at Fusion festival in Lärz for the first time — the start of a tradition that continues to this day.
Own festival format in and around the AJZ — self-made booking, crew and a call to all free spirits.
A big Festival of Friendship, plus a wild-camping tour and political actions around the Castor transport and the anti-nuclear movement.
On 14 Jan 2011 Feine Sahne Fischfilet (among others) play a concert night at AJZ KITA — one of the most famous concerts in the venue's history. The electro & drum'n'bass series Bass Wars, Tech’n’Roll and Transistor Radio run in parallel.
The AJZ takes part in the public commemoration of Dragomir Christinel, killed in Ribnitz-Damgarten in 1992 for racist motives — remembrance as part of antifascist practice.
Small projects, BDP engagement and the Fusion bar show: the AJZ is more active than ever. Seven funding strands support the work (BDP, Youth for Europe, Kulturkosmos, LAP, LaGuS, City of RDG, small projects).
In 2027 the AJZ turns 30 — three decades of self-organised youth and cultural work in Ribnitz-Damgarten. Carry the next 30 with us!

Since 2006, the AJZ has been involved in the Neuland Space at the Fusion Festival in Lärz—featuring its own bar, area design, decorations, and a small stage for DJ sets—run by a crew that looks forward to great encounters every year and is ready to fulfill your every wish.
🔗 ShareUnder the call “Free spirits, assemble” the Soundtrek & Free Spirits Fest ran in 2008 — self-made with its own logo, flyer and crew.
🔗 ShareDuring the 2010 Castor transport the AJZ joined the anti-nuclear protests — attitude here was never just decoration, it was the programme.
🔗 ShareIn 2010, the AJZ participated in the planning and implementation of the Festival of Friendship together with the Graal-Müritz Youth Center, contributing self-booked acts, its own crew, and the schedule.
🔗 ShareOn 14 January 2011, Feine Sahne Fischfilet — one of the best-known left-wing punk bands in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern — played the AJZ KITA stage; a night that's still part of the venue's lore.
🔗 ShareThe Bass Wars series brought the drum’n’bass and bass-music scene to the AJZ for years — including self-built speaker walls and nights danced through.
